I graduated in Medicine with highest honors in 1995 from the University of Naples Federico II.
In 1994 I won a scholarship for the Erasmus project and attended the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Henri-Mondor, Paris.
I earned a second bachelor's degree with honors in dentistry, from the University of Naples Federico II
I specialized in Orthodontics with highest honors at the University of Ferrara in 2008.
My post-graduate education continued with the acquisition of a Level II Master's Degree in Pathology of the Temporo-Mandibular Joint at the University of Naples Federico II, in 2013. In 2016, I traveled to Seattle to pursue an Orthodontic Residency at the University of Washington.
In 2020, I received a Certificate of Completion from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry on Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain.
In 2021, I completed a Master's degree in Sleep Dentistry at the University of Bologna.
I am a speaker and instructor in Orthodontic Courses on the Straight-Wire Technique and University Master's Courses at leading Italian graduate schools. I am a speaker on the topic the role of orthodontics in the management of patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
From 2018-2021, I was an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Catania.
I have authored scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
I am the owner, together with my husband Dr. Davide Mirabella, of two practices: a multidisciplinary practice in Verona and a practice in Catania that deals exclusively with Orthodontics, Temporo-Mandibular Disorders and Sleep Dentistry.
