I was born in Catania on July 10, 1966, and graduated in Dentistry with honors in 1989 from the University of Catania.
I studied from 1991 to 1993 at the University of Washington, Seattle, where I received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.
Upon returning to Italy, I devoted myself to clinical orthodontic practice and teaching, holding training and refresher courses.
Since 2005, I have been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ferrara.
I have had the honor of being invited by the most important American and European orthodontic scientific societies.
I have taught courses and lectured at the most prestigious Italian and foreign schools of specialization in orthodontics.
The innovations I have developed are the subject of teaching and research at several Italian and foreign Schools of Orthodontics.
In 2015, I was president of the Italian Academy of Orthodontics.
I have authored scientific publications in the most reputable international peer-reviewed journals.
